Ayden woman faces 24 charges for allegedly stealing, using credit cards

An Ayden woman was arrested and charged for allegedly stealing credit cards from a home and using them to make purchases.

Pitt County Sheriff’s deputies say on January 30, a victim reported some of his credit cards had been stolen from his residence and were used to make numerous fraudulent purchases.

Detectives collected evidence that led to the suspect’s arrest on April 15, 2019.

Andrea Dawn Whitlow, 34-years-old, of Ayden, was charged with the following counts:

22 felony counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses

One felony count of Financial Card Fraud

One felony count of Financial Card Theft

Whitlow was released the same day on a $25,000 bond.
