In New Bern, the company Chatsworth Products held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday for their expansion and the new CPI technology bear.
The company is a global manufacturer of IT infrastructure automation products.
The expansion was made possible by state and local grants totaling over $240,000.
“This expansion is a pretty exciting thing for us, it will allow us to bring more materials bring in more jobs to allow us to better steam line and organize our plant more effectively,” said Marissa Game, plant manager.
The expansion is expected to create at least 15 jobs and attract nearly $750,000 in private investments.
The company said it will now be able to serve the needs of customers with enhanced access to CPI products, faster delivery time and cost-effectiveness.
