Deputies: Missing Wayne County teens found

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said they have located two teens that went missing in Wayne County Tuesday night.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate two missing teens last seen Tuesday night in the Fremont area.

Deputies believe the juveniles are driving a blue 2007 Kia Spectra an N.C. registration plate PFV6526.

They were last seen Tuesday night in the Fremont area, deputies said. 

The juveniles were identified as 14-year-old Meghan Fazakerly and 14-year-old Ricky Vernon Jr.

Fazakerly is described as a white female with long red hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’5 and 100lbs.

Vernon is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’5 and 170lbs.

Deputies said that it is unknown if Fazakerly left voluntarily. 

They may be in the Pamlico County area, the release said.
