Authorities in Craven County are trying to identify and find two men who allegedly robbed a person at gunpoint at a recycling center on Thursday morning.
The Craven County Sheriff’s Office says at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, two men reportedly used a gun to rob an attendant at the Craven County Refuse Convenience Center, located at 3555 NC Highway 101 in Harlowe.
Detectives say two suspects drove up to the refuse convenience center in a small, older-model white pickup wit ha faded red roof and red hood, possibly a Ford Ranger or Chevrolet S-10.
Suspect one – the man who exited the truck to rob the attendant – is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall, thin, with blue and orange streaks in his hair, wearing a tan shirt and cargo shorts.
Suspect 2 – the getaway driver who remained in the truck – is described as a Hispanic male, dark complexion with shoulder-length hair.
Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous, and you should not approach them if you see them.
