Deputies trying to solve 2 separate cases, lumber company offering reward

The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving two separate incidents in Elizabeth City.

According to deputies, both incidents took place at J.W. Jones Lumber Company on 1443 Northside Road.

The first incident was reported on February 15 around 7:10 p.m.

Several employees were inside the business when they heard about six or seven shots, deputies said. 

Deputies said the shots struck the building and no injuries were reported.

The second case was reported sometime between April 19 after 5:00 p.m. and April 22.

Deputies said that two separate bullet holes were discovered in the main building.  

No vehicle descriptions are available. 

J. W. Jones Lumber Company is offering a $5,000 reward in addition to the Crimeline reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).
