A Farmville man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a man in Wayne County last weekend.

Tyheim Pitt was charged with one count of first-degree murder.

Police responded to the 400 block of S. Goldsboro in Fremont Saturday shortly after 10 p.m., where they found 43-year-old Nacarsa Ford lying on the ground.

Officers arrived before any 911 calls were made and started administering first aid, but Ford died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.

He is the third person arrested in connection to the killing. Brandon Williams, 31, of Goldsboro, and Dequinta Horne, 26, of Pikeville both face first-degree murder charges as well.

Police are also looking for a fourth suspect, 30-year-old Brandon Haynes of Fremont.

Anyone who knows where to find Haynes is asked to call Fremont police at 919-242-5151 or Goldsboro/Wayne Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
