Fire damages building at West Craven High School

A fire that broke out around 3 a.m. Friday damaged a building at West Craven High School.

According to the Vanceboro Volunteer Fire Department, the building where the fire started was likely a storage building next to the school’s greenhouse. 

The Craven County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
