GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) — Goldsboro Police Department officers are investigating after they found a man dead during a welfare check request on Thursday.
Officers were looking for Robert Lee Spruill, 74, and found him unresponsive in his home. Wayne County EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced Spruill dead.
This investigation is ongoing.
