Greenville fire and rescue is working to keep you safe.

They’re installing fire alarms in peoples homes.

This free service was made possible because of a grant.
They also checked the batteries in smoke alarms that people already have.
One person who received a smoke detector says he’s thankful to the folks at fire-rescue.

Very thankful you never know when you gonna need that situation and I’m a hard sleeper and I’d love something to wake me up if something happens in an emergency to get me out of the house as soon as I can, said Western Bunns who received a free smoke alarm
