A Greenville man was arrested and charged this week after he allegedly committed several vehicle break-ins and thefts on Lee Street.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office says on the evening of March 3, several residents of Lee Street in Greenville reported items had been stolen from their vehicles and garages, many of which were unlocked at the time.
During a multi-week investigation, detectives found and seized some of the stolen items at a local pawn shop, where they had been pawned on March 5th.
On April 14, deputies arrested 15-year-old Carlos Marcell Moore, of Greenville.
Moore was charged with one felony count of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and two misdemeanor counts of Possession of Stolen Goods.
Moore was released the same day on a $2,500 bond.
