GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Have you ever wondered what goes on in the day-to-day lives of your local police K-9 officers?

On Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Greenville Police Department held a public demonstration where officers Bobby Parker and Bradley Nunnery showcased how they train fellow K-9 officers Pepper and Axle to handle fighting crime.

The officers discussed all aspects of their K-9 companions, from how they care for them at home to how they utilize them on crime scenes.
