Health Advocacy Project working to ensure North Carolinians better health outcomes


On Wednesday people gathered at locations across the state to remember and honor those who have suffered or died because they were uninsured.

The Health Advocacy Project works to ensure all North Carolinians have better health outcomes and productive lives.

The project said that if N.C. General Assembly expanded Medicaid more than 500,000 North Carolinians would become eligible for the coverage they need.
