Internet and phone service have been restored for residents and businesses in Washington, according to police.
Many homes and businesses in Washington, N.C. had no Internet or phone service on Wednesday, after a SuddenLink equipment box was damaged overnight.
The Washington Police Department says it is working to determine whether or not the box was damaged by gunfire, but police added they did not receive any calls about gunfire in the area overnight.
SuddenLink crews are working to restore Internet and phone service to all customers in Washington.
