This Thursday at a Starbucks in Jacksonville, you have a chance to drink coffee with JPD officers and discuss issues in your neighborhood.
The public “Coffee With A Cop” event takes place on Thursday, March 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Starbucks located at 370 Western Drive, in front of the Jacksonville Mall.
“Coffee With A Cop” is designed to be a casual, informal atmosphere for officers and local residents to discuss local issues, build relationships and drink coffee. Everyone is invited to ask questions and learn more about the JPD’s work in local neighborhoods.
Jacksonville Police Chief Mike Yaniero said, “We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns or simply get to know our officers. These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”
JPD holds “Coffee With A Cop” events each quarter in locations across the city.
