GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — It’s “Jersey Mike’s Subs” annual Day of Giving.
For the stores in eastern North Carolina, they have decided to donate 100 percent of their proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network.
All of the money will stay here in Greenville to help kids in need at the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital at Vidant Medical Center.
They stayed busy today, making subs for those excited to donate.
Even Miss North Carolina stopped by and had a sub.
“Where they can see where their money is actually being put, that’s an integral part,” said Victoria Huggins, Miss North Carolina 2017. “So to know we have local businesses like Jersey Mike’s to contribute to that. All their proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network is so important.”
This day happens every year and all across our country.
Over one thousand stores chose a charity of their choice.
