In Pitt County, there was a celebratory homecoming Sunday morning for the pastor of Koinonia Christian Center.

Dozens of church members lined the sidewalks of the church, holding signs and balloons to welcome Bishop Rosie S. O’Neal home.

She just returned from preaching at a conference in Dallas, reaching over 10,000 people internationally.

Church members said they are thankful she is back in the East.

“It has been a long time coming,” church member Kevin Berryman said. :Bishop is such a humble person, and I believe that is why she took such a powerful platform. She is everyday people but with revelatory words and ways to help you live your life to the fullest. She really is a heart pastor and really does care.”

O’Neal preached alongside T.D. Jakes, named Time Magazine’s ‘Most Influential Preacher.’

She also recently released a book.
