HAVELOCK, N.C. (WNCT) Officials are searching for evidence in the Slocum Creek Bridge area on Highway 70.
The Onslow County Dive Team, the Havelock EMS, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, SBI and Wildlife officials are on the scene searching for evidence.
Officials have one lane of the bridge open but the traffic is still flowing.
The case is still under investigation.
