The Fourth of July is on its way, and there are events going on all across eastern North Carolina.
Here is a compiled list of concerts, fireworks and events going on over the next few days.

Tuesday, July 3:
Belhaven Fourth of July Celebration
Belhaven has been hosting a Fourth of July celebration for 76 years, and this year their festivities begin start July 3 and continue on July 4.

Surf City is holding a July 3 celebration at Southside Park (517 Roland Ave. Surf City) The headliner, Johnny White and the Elite Band, will start at 5:30 p.m. with food vendors and fireworks at dusk.
Wednesday, July 4:
Independence Day Celebration in Greenville
The City of Greenville will host its Independence Day Celebration on Wednesday, July 4, at the Town Common. Live entertainment will include North Carolina’s only electronic one-man band, The Corey Stuart Experience, and the party band Runyons Funyons. There will be fireworks at dusk. For more, click here.
The Glorious Fourth celebration @ Tryon Palace
Enjoy the anniversary of the birth of America at Tryon Palace with historical interpreters, games and crafts for all ages, exhibitions, and a live reading of the Declaration of Independence on the Palace steps. This free event, which will start at 11:00 a.m.. also includes a performance by the Fife and Drum Corps and free access to the Palace gardens.
Residents and visitors are invited to New Bern for the city’s annual Independence Day festivities and fireworks show.
Events begin at 5:30 p.m. in Lawson Creek Park followed by fireworks at 9:15 p.m. that will be launched from the boat ramp at the east end of the park.
The launch spot provides a view of the fireworks from the waterfront, downtown, the Neuse and Trent rivers, and Lawson Creek Park.
Lawson Creek Park will be open all weekend as a picnic area and fireworks viewing location. There will be inflatables, games and food trucks. A D.J. will play music and host dance contests. Also, the 2nd Marine Air Wing Band will play from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Town of Maysville Fourth of July Celebration
The event starts at 4 p.m. at Fort Park on 703 Foy Avenue in Maysville. There will be live music by Joe Brown and the Band, barbeque, hot dogs, drinks and more. Fireworks go off at dark.
The celebration starts at 6 p.m. at Festival Park on 119 East Water Street in Washington.

Base*FEST, an on-base music festival, will launch at Camp Lejeune on July 4 starting at 3:00 p.m.
The festival lineup features headliner Cole Swindell, along with Tyler Farr, Lindsay Ell, Carlton Zeus, Ha Ha Tonka and Joshua K. Swensen.
Base*FEST at Camp Lejeune will offer free admission for all attendees, with a purchase option for VIP experiences.
