A Goldsboro man has been arrested after sexually assaulting a female juvenile for eight years, deputies said.
James L. Davis Sr., 52, of Goldsboro, was charged with statutory rape of a minor, two counts of second degree forcible rape, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report in reference of a female juvenile who was sexually assaulted.
Police said that an investigation revealed the assaults began in 2008 and continued until 2016.
The assaults took place at numerous location in the Wayne County area, police said.
Police identified Davis as the suspect.
Davis was related to the juvenile, police said.
He was given a $650,000 bond.
