The 22-year-old man at the center of a controversial video taken outside a Waffle House in Warsaw has filed a ‘notice of appeal’ after being found guilty of resisting an arrest.
Anthony Wall of Fayetteville was sentenced to 18 months of supervised probation and 40 hours of community service in connection to the May incident.
Witnesses said Wall was acting hostile, and one video shows things becoming heated between him and a Waffle House employee.
In a later video that soon went viral, Officer Frank Moss appears to get into an altercation with Wall, who is dressed in a tuxedo and has just taken his sister to the prom.
Judge Mario Perez said the entire situation could have been avoided if Wall had only calmed down.
