A suspect who robbed a McDonald’s late Sunday night ordered a drink first, according to police.

Officers were called to the McDonald’s on Ehringhaus Street in reference to an armed robbery around 11 p.m.

The cashier said the suspect ordered a drink then handed over a demand note. When the cashier reportedly questioned him about the note, the suspect pulled up his hoodie, revealing a gun. The cashier then handed over money.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect fled on foot toward Harriot Drive. He was described as a white man, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a bald head and mustache and tattoos covering both arms. He was wearing a gray short sleeve sweatshirt and khaki cargo shorts.

Police have not released any surveillance images at this time.
