A Plymouth man turned himself in to authorities after stealing $6,000 from a Cyber Internet Cafe located in Columbia, deputies said.

Torey L. Hudson, 31, of Plymouth, was charged with breaking and entering, theft and safe cracking.

The Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at Cyber Internet Café located on L.A. Keiser Drive in Columbia.

Deputies said they were notified that $6,000 were missing.

A surveillance video led deputies to conduct warrants on Hudson.

Deputies interviewed various witnesses and Hudson turned himself in at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Hudson was sent to the Washington County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.

On Thursday, Hudson made an appearance in the Washington County District Court where his bond was reduced to $30,000.

He is scheduled to make another court appearance on June 28.
