A 14-year-old has been charged with several counts of vehicle breaking and entering in Onslow County, The Daily News reports.
The incidents were reported in the suspect’s neighborhood, Crown Point.
Officials said that break-ins in Onslow County have been increasing over the past months.
Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Col. Chris Thomas said that in the Hubert area people have been checking cars in early morning hours to see if they are unlocked.
The Daily News reports the 14-year-old was arrested by deputies this weekend for a break-in on Dayrell Drive and was sent o the juvenile detention center.
