Officials have captured a man who escaped while being transferred to a detention center.

On Tuesday around 4:45 p.m., the Dare County Sheriff’s Office said that 33-year-old Zane Reynolds was taken into custody and taken to the Dare County Detention Center.

Reynolds was charged with two counts of attempted breaking and entering, one count of first-degree trespass, two counts of resisting public officer and one count escaping custody.

He was given a $90,000 bond.

Kelly Kruszewski, 34, was also arrested.

She was charged with one count of harboring a fugitive and was given a $10,000 bond.

Officials are looking for a man who escaped while being transferred to a detention center.

The Dare County Sheriff’s Office said that Zane Reynolds was in custody of the Nags Head Police Department and escaped while being transferred to the Dare County Detention Center.

Reynolds was last seen near Burnside Road in Manteo.

Nags Head police have issued additional warrants on Reynolds.
