Officials respond to Monday night fire in Duplin County, no injuries reported

DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) – Officials responded to a fire in Duplin County on Monday night at approximately 8:14 p.m.

Potters Hill Fire department along with Richlands Volunteer Fire Department were notified of a grass fire that damaged two abounded vehicles, near Brinson Lane on East NC 24.

When officials arrived both vehicles were in flames. the fire was controlled quickly and they stayed on the scene handling hot spots. At approximately 9:15 p.m. the scene was cleared.
