GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — A number of churches and community groups took part in National Day of Prayer throughout the day on Thursday.
WNCT had team coverage of two such events to find out what people were coming together to pray for.
Chief Photojournalist Kenneth Roundtree went to Grainger Stadium in Kinston where several denominations gathered at noon. Reporter Claire Curry attended the prayer service at Montford Point Marine Memorial and Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville.
