Red Cross opens shelter for residents affected by power outage in Windsor

WINDSOR, N.C. (WNCT) The American Red Cross has opened an emergency shelter at the request of Bertie County Emergency Management in Windsor to assist those affected by the power outage.

Red Cross workers are providing a safe and warm place to sleep and support to impacted residents through the night.

On Friday, the following Red Cross managed shelter was open:

  • Bertie High School at 715 US Hwy 13 N
