Businesses in eastern North Carolina continue to recover after Hurricane Florence, including in Sneads Ferry.
Baked Pizza Company reopened their doors Monday after closing for three months.
The owner, Samuel A. Baker, said luck was on their side as minimal damage occurred.
“All the tiles, the shingles were there everything was there, no flooding,” said Baker.
The restaurant returned back to normal business hours after Florence.
“We actually opened and gave away a ton of pizza that we had leftover,” said Baker.
But on Thanksgiving Day, the business closed for renovations.
The floors in the dining area were refurbished.
The bar is still under construction.
Baker said they anticipate to open the bar by the end of this week.
Baked Pizza Company is located at 2013 N.C. Hwy 172 in Sneads Ferry.
