Target committed up to $1.5 million to help communities recover from Florence.

$1 million will go to non-profit organizations, including Team Rubicon for disaster cleanup and recovery, GlobalGiving in support of various local nonprofits, and more as they assess the needs of the communities.

“We’re so grateful that Target has provided swift, generous support to the communities affected by Hurricane Florence,” said Britt Lake, chief program officer and head of the Disaster Recovery Network at GlobalGiving.

Team members also have the opportunity to donate to Target’s Team Member Giving Fund, which provides assistance to their fellow team members facing hardship immediately after natural disasters like Hurricane Florence.

Target is matching all donations they make through September 30 up to $500,000.
