The umbrella market is right around the corner, and Uptown Greenville is encouraging vendors to apply now.
They are looking for vendors who can bring locally made craft items, food, and other goods.
Uptown Greenville President/CEO Bianca Shoneman said it is a great way for people to test the marketability of their products.
“Before you consider opening a bricks and mortar, if you are a farmer or crafter or maker, we would invite you to be a vendor at the Umbrella Market,” Shoneman said. “We keep our point of entry very accessible so the cost to participate as a vendor is low, and the reason we do that is because we do want to be a small business incubator.”
The market happens every Wednesday, May 1 through August 28.
Vendors can pay as they go for $20 per market, or pay $130 for the whole season.
