Friday, April 12th is the first night of the PirateFest Carnival in Greenville, with rides, games, food and pirate-themed fun for all ages.
The PirateFest Carnival will take place on Friday, April 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Five Points Plaza, located at the corner of West 5th Street and Evans Street in downtown Greenville.
On Friday night only, carnival attendees can purchase and use an “All You Can Ride” wristband for $20 per-person. Presale wristbands are $15 per-person, and can be purchased through April 8.
This year’s PirateFest Carnival rides include The Scat, Fun Slide, Super Spinner, Wind Jammer, Carousel, Ferris Wheel, and a rock-climbing wall, and several carnival games with prizes for all ages, along with food and beverages for sale.
Pirate grub and grog will line Evans Street, with music on the 4th and Evans Stage by Psylo Joe. Country music star, Jimmie Allen, will light up the Town Common stage with his undeniable talent and personality on Friday night with a free headlining concert.
PirateFest continues on Saturday, April 13th, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with food, art, non-profit vendors, a pirate encampment, grog gardens, carnival, and live music all day long. Join us for our festival finale with a free 90’s hip-hop throwback concert featuring Tone Loc and Biz Markie at the Town Common at 5:00 p.m.
You can buy presale wristbands online at the PirateFest website., and you can pick them up on April 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Emerge at 404 Evans Street. Wristbands are ONLY valid on Friday, April 12th.
Individual ride tickets will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. No refunds, as this is a rain or shine event.
