The Greenville Police Department is investigating a fatal head on collision that occurred on 5th Street Tuesday around 5:45 a.m.

Police said the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was identified as Gerald L. Outlaw, 50, of Windsor.

Outlaw was traveling on the westbound lane of East 5th Street when his truck collided with a Ford Econoline Van driven by Dan K. Wooten III, 19, of Greenville, police said.

The impact of the crash caused the van to overturn.
