BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies said Friday that ten more people have been arrested and charged in the ninth round of ‘Operation Hourglass’.
It’s a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies that targets those involved in the illegal sale and delivery of narcotics.
With the newest arrests, a total of 88 people have been charged as part of the operation. The following individuals were arrested and charged as part of round nine:
Matthew Daniel Bailey, 18 – 398 Highway 70, Beaufort Bond: $3,000 secured
One count – possession of schedule VI controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule VI controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule VI controlled substance.
Deborah Anne Bazemore, 28 – 218 Clayton Drive, Newport Bond: $15,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; one count – manufacture a schedule I controlled substance; one count – sell heroin; one count – deliver heroin; one count – conspire to sell and deliver heroin; one count – create a counterfeit controlled substance.
Preston Scott Brungard, 19 – 114 Naval Stores Drive, Newport Bond: $10,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance.
Theodore Courman, Sr., 49 – 329 Silver Dollar Road, Beaufort Bond: $50,000 secured
Eight counts – trafficking in cocaine; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, and place for a controlled substance.
Skylar Lorraine Crawford, 21 – 119 Yeatman Lane, Beaufort Bond: $25,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule III controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule III controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – manufacture, sell, deliver, and possess a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park.
Hamp Jacobs, 57 – 430 Nine Foot Road, Newport Bond: $15,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule III controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, and place for a controlled substance.
Marlena Carolyn Morissette, 37 – 940 Highway 24, Newport Bond: $15,000 secured *Morissette was charged and arrested in round 3. Listed below are new charges.
Two counts – sell or deliver a counterfeit controlled substance; one count – possession with intent to sell and deliver a counterfeit controlled substance; one count – create a counterfeit controlled substance.
Randall Glenn Parrish, 73 – 1428 NC Highway 58, Swansboro Bond: $50,000 secured
One count – trafficking, opium or heroin; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule VI controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling and place for a controlled substance; two counts – simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sonya Kelly Perry, 32 – 408 Macon Court, Morehead City Bond: $15,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule III controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule III controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, and place for a controlled substance.
Francisco Ramos, Jr., 39 – 1200 N. 20th Street, Morehead City Bond: $125,000 secured
