KENLY, N.C. (WNCT) – The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office asked the public to help find a man they say let animals starve to death.
On Wednesday, deputies used a search warrant at a home on Lefty Road in Kenly. They said they found eleven dogs dead outside and inside the home.
Deputies say they took nine dogs and two iguanas to be treated at the local shelter.
They say the homeowners, Patricia Williams and Jimmy Carroll Williams Jr, abandoned the home and leaving behind all twenty-three animals. They say utilities were cut off on January 19.


On Thursday, deputies released to the public the images of Patricia and Jimmy. On Friday, deputies say Patricia turned herself in.
The magistrate gave her a $5,000 bond.
