KENANSVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office is investigation a homicide of a Warsaw man.
Deputies found 18-year-old Dondi Marcel Hutcherson, Jr. with multiple gunshot wounds at the 800 block of Blackmore Road.
It happened around 12:30 Friday morning.
Hutcherson, Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff Blake Wallace said deputies are following several leads. They also have multiple persons of interest.
Sheriff Wallace told WNCT the department is working diligently to find who’s responsible and bring them to justice.
The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
