3 arrested on several drug charges in Beaufort County

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested three people on drug charges.

Investigators arrested Michael Booth, 36, of Greenville and Giles Keyes, 54, of Washington on March 8.

Booth was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine within 1000 feet of John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School and two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana within 1000 feet of John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School.  

Keyes was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana within 1000 feet of John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School.

On Thursday, investigators arrested Jermaine Moore, 36, of Washington. 

Moore was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine within 1000 feet of John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana within 1000 feet of John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School.

Their arrest stemmed from investigators making controlled purchases of cocaine and marijuana from Booth, Keyes, and Moore at Booth’s Car Wash.  

Investigators conducted a search warrant at Booth’s Car Wash and said they found approximately 125 grams of marijuana, packaging material used to package marijuana and a digital scale.

All of them were sent to the Beaufort County Detention Center.

Booth was given a $30,000 bond, Keyes a $7,500 bond and Moore a $40,000 bond.
