3 behind bars after New Bern Police seize more than a kilo of heroin

New Bern, N.C. (WNCT) – Three men went before a judge Monday morning after officers arrested them during a drug bust in New Bern over the weekend.

65-year-old Thomas Cox, 32-year-old Derrick Davis, and 35-year-old Rahim Brown are all facing multiple drug charges, including heroin trafficking. The suspects were taken to the Craven County Detention Center and given $6 million bonds each.

New Bern Police said the arrests stem from an incident on Daughety Court on Friday.

During the incident, investigators seized more than one kilo of heroin, plus marijuana, scales, and three guns.
