Three suspects entered a Wayne County home on Monday demanding money and then began shooting – leaving three injured, the sheriff’s office said.

On Monday around 11:37 p.m., a person said to be panic-stricken called the Wayne County 911 Center to report someone came into a home in a house on 107 Connies Walk in Dudley and began shooting.

EMS and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene and said they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to deputies, the three individuals inside the home had been shot.

Two of the victims, a 37-year-old and 41-year-old, lived at the home where the shooting occurred, the sheriff’s office said. The third victim lives nearby.

Once the scene was secured, those injured were transported to the hospital.

The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.

Evidence indicated that at least three subjects entered the home demanding money and began shooting.

The three individuals injured by gunfire were:
