GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Nearly $360,000 worth of crystal meth was recovered during an arrest operation Thursday, according to the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force.
This concluded a six-month international drug investigation It revealed that narcotics were being shipped from Mexico to Arizona, and then to Greenville.
Around 11 p.m, investigators got information that a drug deal would take place in the parking in the 300 block of Greenville Blvd. A K-9 uncovered the presence of narcotics. Officers located approximately 12.2 lbs of crystal meth inside one vehicle with a street value of $360,000.
Arrested during this investigation were Yuceli Cerecer-Lozano, 26, of Glendale, Arizona, Juan Carlos Acuna-Aguilar, 27, of Phoenix, Arizona, Nester Roberto Beltran-Garay, 30, unknown location in Mexico and Pablo Dejesus Valdez-Lozano, 18, of Glendale, Arizona.
All defendants were charged with multiple counts of trafficking in crystal methamphetamine and conspiracy, and are being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $2 million bond.
