4 charged after Kinston Police, Lenoir Co. deputies conclude drug investigation

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Four people are charged after Kinston Police and the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office concluded a drug investigation.

The investigation wrapped up with the execution of a search warrant at the Country Hearth Inn, room 136 on August 9. Officers recovered about 7 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested and charged:

  • Ashley Cole, 26, of Kinston, N.C. was charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Warrants for Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, Misdemeanor Larceny and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods were also served on Ms. Cole. She was placed to the Lenoir County Jail under a $47,000 secured bond.
  • Michael Odom, 28, of Kinston, N.C. was charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A warrant for Misdemeanor Larceny was also served on Mr. Odom. He was confined to the Lenoir County Jail under a $26,500 secured bond.
  • Catlin Turner, 25, of LaGrange, N.C. was charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and confined to the Lenoir County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Christopher Walker, 25, of Pink Hill was charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling and confined to the Lenoir County Jail under a $30,000 secured bond.
