Bullet found in baby’s hamper, neighbor arrested for accidental gunshot

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested in Murfreesboro for reckless endangerment after he says he accidentally shot a hole in his neighbor’s home Wednesday.

Murfreesboro police arrested Stephen Camiolo Sunday morning after his neighbors found a bullet in a laundry hamper in their baby’s closet.

The neighbors showed police the bullet and a bullet hole in their home’s drywall and siding.

Officers noticed a similar hole in the couple’s next door neighbor’s home.

Police talked with the neighbor, Mr. Camiolo, who said he had accidentally fired a friend’s weapon inside his home on March 16.

Camiolo stated he knew the bullet had gone through his own home, but hadn’t realized it went through his neighbor’s home.

Officers arrested Camiolo for reckless endangerment and for vandalism under $500.
