It’s FRIDAY! Let’s kick back and have some fun! Here in Eastern NC we have a few weather related city names such as Snow Hill and Winterville.

Across the US there are plenty of different weather related cities:

* Hurricane, UT

* Frostproof, FL

* Rainbow, TX

* Cyclone, PA

* Sun City, AZ

* Snow, OK

* Tornado, WV

* Red Cloud, NE

* Winter, WI

* Spring, TX

* Cloudy, OK

* Glacier, WA

* Storm Lake, IA

Some of these cities actually see some of the weather they are named for. Others, like Frostproof, FL aren’t exactly frostproof. While hurricanes are not known in Utah, they are no stranger to gusty winds.
