Wayne Farms company in Alabama is recalling approximately 438,960lbs of frozen, fully cooked chicken products that may be contaminated with metal pieces, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said.
The products were produced from July 4 through July 17.

The recalled products have an establishment number “P-20214” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The items were shipped to distributors, restaurants and further processing locations nationwide.
The recall comes after Wayne Farms received a customer complaint on July 27.
The company investigated the nature of the foreign material complaint and notified FSIS on September 4.
No injuries or adverse reactions have been reported.
Consumers who have purchased the products are urged not to consume them.
The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
