A burrito business is extending their services to local Coast Guard members who are being affected by the government shutdown. 

Dank Burrito in Morehead City is offering a 50 percent discount for anything on their menu. 

The owner, Clarke Merrell, started the discount after seeing a family member in need and wanted to help. 

The discount began three days ago. The reduced meal will be available for as long as the government shutdown continues. 

The Dank Burrito is located at 4135 Arendell St. The restaurant operates every day from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To receive a discount coast members just have to show proof of ID.
