Deputies: Reward increase for info on vandalism that caused $20K in damages

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division is still asking for the public’s help on recent vandalism that caused $20,000 in damages to a business. 

In addition to a reward from Crime Stoppers, the owner or victim in the case has offered to pay a reward, if the information provided leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s).

The amount of potential reward is up to $10,000.

Onslow County Sheriff’s deputies are asking the public for any information on recent vandalism that caused $20,000 in damages to a business.

Investigators say on March 17, 2019, deputies responded to reported vandalism at 2894 Belgrade Swansboro Road near Maysville.

Deputies found two commercial greenhouses, located on farmland near Highway 17, had been damaged by a sharp object, causing an estimated $10,000 worth of damage to each greenhouse.

Investigators say the greenhouses circled in the photo in this story are the ones that were damaged.
