Deputies seeking information after 4 cats were shot in Bridgeton

BRIDGETON, N.C. (WNCT) – The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is investigating animal cruelty reports in Bridgeton.

Deputies say it happened on the 1000 block of Antioch Road.

The Sheriff’s Office says it received reports that four cats were shot and another cat was killed. Deputies say three other dogs were also reported missing in the same area.

Deputies urge pet owners in the area to keep a close eye on their animals while they are outside.
