Deputies: Woman turns self in after ordering items using customers’ credit cards

A woman turned herself in Monday after deputies said she was ordering items for herself using customers’ credit cards.

Kaliesha L. Hightower, 28, of Jacksonville, was charged with four counts felony obtaining property by false pretense, four counts felony identity theft and four counts misdemeanor using an illicit card.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office responded at ‘Contact Us’ a business located on Richlands Highway after reports made by several customers in reference to fraudulent charged on credit cards.

The report came in on December 31.

An investigation showed that Hightower while working as a customer service representative at Belk, was ordering items for herself on customers’ credit cards.

Deputies said that Hightower turned herself on Monday. 

Hightower was sent to the Onslow County Detention Center under an $80,000 bond.
