For nearly four decades, Miller’s Waterfront Restaurant has been offering up spectacular views and even more incredible food in Nags Head.
Known for their stunning views of the sunset over the sound, Miller’s has taken local seafood to a new level.
“Everyone is selling tuna, everyone is selling scallops, everyone is selling the shrimp, and so on and so forth. It’s kind of what else can you do with it,” said Owner Bryan Wilson.
Miller’s is taking their own unique twists with the local goods — like Tuna nachos.
“Tuna on a salad, but tuna on a nacho, I’ve never seen before. They put a cream sauce on it,” said Tricia Lepera.
The fresh tuna is crusted with sesame seeds and served on fried wanton wrappers and an Asian slaw, then topped with a Sriracha sauce.
“You get a nice little kick from the Sriracha but the cream cools everything down,” said WNCT’s Josh Birch. “Not your traditional nacho, but one you will never forget.”
Another big hit is the shrimp tacos.
“You have a little bit of Monterrey Jack cheese, corn and blackened shrimp, with Pico de Gallo and a cilantro cream,” said Chef Nick Wilson.
If you’re coming by boat, don’t worry — you can dock behind the restaurant and walk right in.
