GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT)- East Carolina Football was back on the gridiron Saturday. The team is halfway through spring practices.
Head Coach Scottie Montgomery says the team couldn’t have asked for a better day of practice. He says the wet and rainy weather was just what they needed. The team used some of Saturday’s practice to scrimmage. Quarterbacks Kurt Benkert and Philip Nelson split the snaps. Coach Mo says he’s proud of how his team adjusted to Saturday’s conditions.
