Family hopes for return of missing Onslow County woman

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in searching for a missing 39-year-old woman.

The family has not heard from mother of three Torrie Rohling since Saturday, December 15, after her daughter Hailey said she stopped responding to her messages that afternoon. The family said was unusual and out of character of her.

“We just want you home, we just want you safe. We’re not going to rest until you come home safe. We just want you home,” said Tricia Sweeney, Torrie Rohling’s sister.

Her family says she is free-spirited and artistic.

“Lot of artistic ability, just an all around sweet girl,” said Rohling’s father Jim Lockwood.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office tells 9 On Your Side Rohling left the area with someone else.

The Sheriff’s Office is not sure whether or not she is in any danger.

Sweeney says they’re determined to get her back home.

“We miss Torrie very much,” said Sweeney. “We love Torrie very much, her kids miss her very much.”

Rohling was described as a white woman about 5 feet, 8 inches in height, thin build, with close-shaved brown hair. She has facial piercings and tattoos on her upper body.

It is not known what Rohling was last seen wearing or her method of travel.

Anyone with information about Rohling’s whereabouts is asked to contact Onslow County Communications Center, at 910-455-9119, The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, at 910-455-3113, or Crime Stoppers, at 910-938-3273.
